Allows for broad attacks that are effective against multiple foes. Requires great strength and experience to handle effectively. I consider it a good strength weapon, i used it for most of my playthrough and was quite good, but in the late game i changed it for the Meat Cleaver and in NG+ i used the northen regalia but that said the claymore is good for most of the areas so for me it is a good weapon.
